Understanding home education

Home education involves educating a child outside the usual school setting. Legal responsibilities and requirements vary by country and jurisdiction.

This RVA programme is adult CPD. It is not an online school, a children’s school-enrolment service or a GCSE provider. It does not approve a family’s legal arrangements or replace local education-authority guidance.

Parents should check the applicable rules in their location before making decisions about home education.

Supporting learning at home

Discuss your family-learning goals with RVA and ask for the current course outline. Check the programme’s scope, timetable and assessment before you commit.

Live online delivery

The programme lasts four months, with three live one-hour classes each week. Ask RVA for the current timetable and confirm that you can attend in your time zone before enrolling.

Successful completion requires at least 95% attendance. Live sessions are recorded internally for quality assurance; recordings are not provided to learners or published online. The written registration information will explain recording access and retention before enrolment.

Assessment and CPD certificate

Learners complete a final 50-MCQ assessment. The general pass mark is 75%.

The programme carries 120 CPD Credits. Certificates carry RVA and relevant CPD branding where applicable.

Right Vision Teacher Training Academy is an Approved CPD Provider with The CPD Group, Provider #777661.

This is CPD, not QTS, a teaching licence or an Ofqual/RQF-regulated qualification. Credits are not automatically teaching/contact hours.
